Canoe and Bicycle along the Lehigh River between Allentown and Bethlehem September 16th 12 noon to about 4 pm We will start at Keck (Canal) Park, Allentown, located just before the east end of the Hamilton Street Bridge (turn off Hamilton St. onto N. 100 Trees
Come one, Come all! Join us as we celebrate a wonderful experience in urban environmentalism! Funded by TD Green Streets and sponsored by the City of Bethlehem and volunteer organizations, the 100 Trees Project planted one hundred trees in Bethlehem parks on April 30. More than 140 volunteers participated in the planting. Over the summer, the 100 Trees Project sponsored Bethlehem Area Public Library tree story hours and funded new books on trees. Saturday, June 4, 2016 saw the second annual "Step Outdoors Lehigh Valley" community event at ArtsQuest's SteelStacks venue in south Bethlehem and LV Sierra Club was there.
